Liverpool footballer, Raheem Sterling accused of battering former Miss United Kingdom

Raheem Sterling, a Liverpool football club
player has been accused of battering and
assaulting his 20-year-old girlfriend, Shana
Halliday.

Sterling who was arrested at about 10pm on
Thursday, August 8, 2013 was arraigned before
a court on Friday where he pleaded not guilty.

He has been granted a conditional bail and will
stand trial at Liverpool Magistrates' court on
Friday, September 20
Sheila and Raheem have been dating for nearly
three years since the winger joined Liverpool
club in 2010.
